What to do in Summer

With longer days and sunny weather, summer is the perfect time to enjoy a walk on the beach, a picnic in the park or a visit to one of Adelaide’s many historic sites.

Visit the Cumberland Park Community Centre

The Cumberland Park Community Centre has some new activities supported by ECH and the Office for Ageing Well over Summer.

Bocce is a relaxing yet strategic game with an ancient lineage. If you’re interested in learning how to play this sport, you can join ECH at the Cumberland Park Community Centre every Wednesday from 10am – 12pm. The cost is a gold coin donation.

Are you interested in learning macramé, making your own terrarium or a variety of other beautiful gifts just in time for Christmas? Every Wednesday from 10am – 12pm at the Cumberland Park Community Centre, ECH will guide you through a variety of fun DIY projects. Just bring yourself, your creativity and sense of fun! The cost is $5.
