After experiencing heart failure, weight loss and a number of serious falls, Alex’s family was looking for some extra support to help him regain his strength, confidence and sense of positivity. While he was hesitant at first to accept help in fear of losing his independence, Alex now enjoys attending the ECH Day Program at Happy Valley and the ECH Wellness Centre at Morphett Vale.
Self-Care Through the Senses
Together with the Adelaide Botanic Garden, ECH has developed a series of Horticultural Therapy wellbeing workshops designed to help people re-establish the connection to their bodies, while at the same time offering an opportunity to make some new friends.
Dons New Lease on Life
Having lived in his scenic beachfront home for 31 years, ECH client Don knew he would need some extra support to continue living confidently at home.
Creating Community Connections
There is no better feeling than when you are welcomed into a community to connect with others. The ECH Connections Team does just this to ensure bonds are built and friendships are formed amongst those taking part in all ECH community engagement activities.
